Jews outside Jerusalem pray facing its direction. Even in Israel’s national anthem ‘Ha Tikvah’ (‘The Hope’), the dream of rebuilding and returning of Jews reflects. In Islamic tradition after Mecca and Medina; Jerusalem is one of the most sacred places. Even the Islamic prophet Muhammad has also visited there. Before Mecca, It was the place as Qiblah (direction of prayer). The Dome of the Rock, built on the temple mount is one of the Islamic sacred shrines in this city. Today, more than 3 million people of Jerusalem follows Islam. It is the place where Muhammad himself told that he is the last prophet of the Judaic-Christian Religions and he founded a third Abrahamic religion: Islam.
