Michelin Star Restaurants

To begin with, the Michelin Star rating system for Restaurants was originated as a guide to French drivers & mechanics about local enmities.

Being awarded Michelin Star is not less than a life-dream for any chef/restaurant. It raises the status bar among all the restaurants around the world. To become a Michelin star chef or restaurant; food and restaurant have to be the best in quality, versatility, outlook, test(of-course), presentation, authenticity and creativity among all the other chefs/restaurants. However, The restaurant not jut requires presenting its unique & delicious cuisines but also has to be the best in serving their customers. Furthermore, even the slightest mistake and one has to wait for an entire year to get assessed for the Michelin Star award/title. There was a time when these restaurants were only limited to Europe. But today there are several Michelin star restaurants around the world.

In summary, there are 3 categories of ratings. 1 star represents “Very good restaurants“, 2 star represents “Excellent cooking that is worth detour” and 3-star ratings means “Exceptional cooking that is worth a special journey”.
