They built Palais du Prince as a Genoese fortress in the 13th century. However, it is said that the fortress was renovated throughout the centuries. The most fascinating thing to watch at this palace is the ceremony called, the Compagnie des Carabiners du Prince. The highly trained Palace guards conduct this ceremony every day at 11.55 am with the accompanying of the Prince’s Carabinieri Orchestra.
The main thing which makes MONACO The Billionaire’s Playground is its famous Monaco Harbor. It is one of the most luxurious ports of many opulent yachts. HSH Prince Sovereign Albert II founded the club in 1953. It is the docking yard of many luxurious yachts including the Prince’s private vessel. Monaco has a prestigious yacht club in the world named The Yacht Club de Monaco. Today, more than 1,600 yacht owners from 66 different countries are a member of this lavish club. The Yacht Club de Monaco hosts many events such as races, yacht shows, the “Fête de la Mer” (A festival of water sports and maritime activities) & “The Biennial Monaco Classic Week” (A weeklong presentation of vintage boats).
